"Farewell Season"

I'm not sure if anyone else has pointed this out — if I don't see something on the DC Sports Bog, I assume it hasn't — but I noticed something unusual about the Terrapins football team's helmets when perusing some photos from Saturday's win over Old Dominion for Wednesday's paper.

There's stickers on the back I hadn't seen before. And they weren't there last week against Florida International.

The stickers read (just look above): "FAREWELL SEASON" above a Maryland flag bar with the ACC logo at the top inside of some sort of shield shape.

I'm a little surprised because the Big Ten logo is on a bunch of things like schedule magnets in apartments, and I hadn't seen anything anywhere commemorating the Terps' last ride through the ACC.

It's nothing groundbreaking in the uniform front, but it's something, right?
